COVID - 19 FAQ's

1. When can I have my eyes tested?


During lockdown, routine eyecare is temporarily suspended so it is not possible to have a face to face eye exam at the moment. We will follow recommended guidelines and look forward to providing exams when restrictions are eased.



2. I am concerned about my eyesight. What can I do?


Please get in touch with us. Although we cannot test your eyes directly, we can give expert advice via telephone and video consultations.



3. I have a problem with my eyes. Should I contact my doctor?


We can help. Over 80% of problems can be assessed and resolved by telephone or video consultation. Where appropriate, we can arrange referral to specialist NHS eyecare treatment centres during lockdown.



4. My glasses are broken. Can they be repaired or replaced?


Yes… we are still here to repair or replace glasses wherever possible. Please call to see how we can help.



5. Can I still get contact lenses?


Yes. We can still order contact lenses can arrange for them to be delivered directly to your home.



6. How do I contact you?


Our opening hours are restricted during lockdown due to social distancing recommendations. Simply call us on 01501 823983. If we are unable to take your call, please do leave a message. We are checking the answering machine every 30 minutes and will get back in touch as soon as we can.
